Decal, self-adhesive label, self-adhesive paper are many names for one product: Decal. Decal is a label with a pre-coated self-adhesive layer (or in other words, it sticks thanks to pressure). Unlike other types of labels (labels with pre-coated glue only stick when wet, heated or applied with regular glue). Decal is a type of label that is pre-coated with glue and has a protective paper base layer. After peeling off the base layer, the label is gently pressed to stick to the product surface. This type of glue does not need to be wet or heated, but only needs a light pressure, the label will stick to the product!
Decal structure Decal consists of 4 layers as follows: 1. The surface layer is paper, plastic film or fabric. The content that needs to be displayed on the label will be printed on this layer. 2. The glue layer is coated on the bottom of the surface layer 3. The silicon layer (or PE-silicon) is coated on the top of the base layer to prevent the glue from sticking to the base layer 4. The base layer can be Kraft paper or Glassine to protect the glue layer when not in use. Currently, there are many types of Decals on the market with different quality, prices and origins. Depending on the purpose of use, we can choose the appropriate type of Decal (UV-blocking car glass stickers, reflective Decals, used for cutting letters, supporting sculpture, opaque stickers to block light, printing images for decoration with see-through or non-see-through ...). Decal sizes also come in many types, usually in roll form with horizontal sizes of 0.6m, 1.2m and 1.5m.
